  Edgemoore Homes wins 8 prestigious Monument Awards, including 7 for it's European-style Village of Avonlea in Chantilly. 
  Edgemoore Homes was recognized with eight coveted Monument Awards for architectural and design excellence at a gala banquet and awards presentation sponsored by the Washington Metropolitan Sales & Marketing Council, the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association and the Maryland National Capital Building Industry Association on November 1, 2007 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. The presentations were made by News Anchor Frank Herzog of WJLA, and applauded by a festive crowd including top real estate industry executives representing virtually all Nation’s Capital Area homebuilders and developers.

The European-style village Avonlea in Chantilly won seven Monument Awards for “Attached Housing $450,001 - $500,000,” “Attached Housing $550,001 - $600,000,” “Attached Housing $600,001 - $700,000,” “Special Achievements in Affordable Housing,” “Single Family Homes $650,001 - $750,000,” “Site Land Planning 51 – 125 Acres,” and “Implementation of an Innovative Product Line.” The estate planned community of Selma in Leesburg won a Monument Award for The Huntington model for “Single Family Homes on Lots 7,000 Sq. Ft. & Over.”

The 2007 Monument Awards continue Edgemoore Homes’ remarkable award-winning tradition, which includes over 30 Monument Awards for architectural excellence over the years.
